Job Overview

As a Construction Management Intern in the New Home Buidling Industry, you will be provided with an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience and insight into the dynamic field of construction management.

Under the guidance of an experienced superintendent and community manager, you will contribute to various aspects of new home construction, from planning and scheduling to working with our trade partners and home buyers.

Responsibilities

Observing and /or interacting with various professionals related to the construction field including owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

Assisting with the overall project management responsibilities including, account management, billing, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors and vendors

Completing, updating, and distributing project management communications of various types such as purchase orders, safety inspections, material and labor logs, inventory, and meeting minutes.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing an education in Construction management or Business-related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work with others as a team player
• Organized with strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interface with subcontractors, suppliers, designers, and home buyers
• Computer proficiency and ability to navigate our home building software

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
