Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy of Visionary Homes. This position is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, providing insights that inform decision-making and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning, ideally with experience in the real estate or construction industry.

This is an in-office role, requiring availability to work out of our Logan, Layton, or Pleasant Grove, UT offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for banks, lenders, and financial partners, building and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure timely and favorable financing terms.

• Participate in long-range planning and strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to support company growth and expansion.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and risks. Create dashboards and KPI reports to drive visibility on performance.

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data accuracy to support a scalable finance function.

• Track financial performance on a per-project and aggregate basis, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Identify variances, trends, and risks, and develop recommendations to improve performance.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel, and experience with ERP systems

• Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of financial principles

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.

• Keen eye for accuracy in financial reporting, data integrity, and documentation.
