Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in guiding the financial strategy of Visionary Homes. This position is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, providing insights that inform decision-making and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic planning, ideally with experience in the real estate or construction industry.
This is an in-office role, requiring availability to work out of our Logan, Layton, or Pleasant Grove, UT offices.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for banks, lenders, and financial partners, building and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure timely and favorable financing terms.
Participate in long-range planning and strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to support company growth and expansion.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and risks. Create dashboards and KPI reports to drive visibility on performance.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data accuracy to support a scalable finance function.
Track financial performance on a per-project and aggregate basis, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Identify variances, trends, and risks, and develop recommendations to improve performance.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel, and experience with ERP systems
Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of financial principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.
Keen eye for accuracy in financial reporting, data integrity, and documentation.
