We are looking to for an Experienced Drafter to join our company’s Architecture team.

This is an in-office role, requiring availability to work out of our North Logan, Utah Headquarters.

Job Overview

As a Drafter & Designer, you will play a key role in bringing our home designs to life. You’ll be responsible for updating existing home plans to align with buyer specifications, maintaining and refining our portfolio of home designs, and ensuring all plans meet evolving building codes and industry best practices. Your work will directly impact our ability to create high-quality, market-ready homes that meet the needs of our buyers.

Responsibilities

Plan Design & Management

• Maintain and update a portfolio of home plans.

• Revise plans based on buyer selections and design changes.

• Ensure all plans comply with current building codes and construction practices.

Technical Drafting & Documentation

• Maintain a detail library for building specifications.

• Create and update elevation and layout drawings for sales and marketing purposes.

• Prepare plans and documentation for building permit submittals and construction packets.

• Support the Project Manager in developing multi-family construction documents in collaboration with consultants and architects.

• Redline and revise plan drawings as needed.

Marketing & Presentation

• Assist in creating marketing materials to promote new real estate projects.

• Develop high-quality visual representations of plans for buyers and stakeholders.

Permit & Compliance Facilitation

• Manage and oversee the building permit process for all homes.

• Stay up to date with changes in construction regulations and ensure plan compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Degree or certification in Drafting, CAD, or a related field preferred.

• Experience in drafting or architectural design is a plus.

Technical Proficiency

• Required: Proficiency in Revit.

• Preferred: Experience with AutoCAD.

• Bonus: Familiarity with Bluebeam.

• Rendering experience is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.

• Able to work on your own to complete projects on time.

Physical Requirements

• Primarily a desk-based role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.
